Why hasnt there ever been a movie made on the book of Job. I think the events in heaven and events on earth would be a great contrast in how God thinks and how man thinks it would be very inspirational.

Hi, thank you for all these information. I couldn’t find your review of the following one. It is not a movie. But… Have you ever reviewed here Cotton Patch Gospel (2006) DVD?
I have watched many times. It is based on the gospel of Matthew. It is really funny, too.

There are a few films which could be described as being "about Job" and so a while back a started a label on them - http://biblefilms.blogspot.com/search/label/Job. The all labels age has been updated recently, but I've not had a chance to update this page for a while (but then it wouldn't be here anyway!).

I've never actually seen "The Cotton Patch gospels". It is one of those films that I really ought to have seen by now, but it's not been available over here, and I've just never made it a high enough priority. I'll get around to it one day I guess.

In the mean time, then, have you visit here to read the original version of Cotton Patch Gospel (before it became a musical)? There you can read other Cotton Patch versions of the New Testament, too. Hope you enjoy it!

I have another name. It is called, "Joshua." I am not sure whether it can be included under the name of “Jesus Film Labels.” But I think it is so close. It is an imaginative film about what would happen if Jesus, (Joshua in the film) comes to an American town. Thanks for you blog. I seem to come often in these days.

      Hi, Matt

I am really enjoying watching the Miracle Maker. Bravo.

By the way, have you seen this film: Die Bibel: Jesus? Which one of above link is related to this? I wonder whether you have reviewed it here. I see this ads often but I haven't seen it. So, I want to learn what kind of film this is. I don’t seem to find it in America.
Thank you for your help in advance.

      Hey Matt
I was wondering about your opinion on the French ? To my opinion is really poor, especially with Pilate in front of Golgotha scenery.
