This week's The Culture Show on BBC2 featured a short piece on the 40th anniversary of the release of the original 'Jesus Christ, Superstar' album. Such was the popularity of Rice and Lloyd Webber's concept album it was only 3 years until it was adapted for the film. The programme includes an interview with Rice and Lloyd Webber as well as a closer look at the artists involved in the original recording including a few excerpts from Murray Head (Judas).Viewers in the UK can catch the show on iPlayer. I think that Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice should sue Robbie Williams for the obvious ripoff of 'Superstar' in 'Let Me Entertain You'.
